When I first sought Sarah out for nutritional coaching, I honestly wasn’t sure anyone would actually be able to help me attain my goals of taming my sweet tooth (kicking my sugar addiction), reaching my racing weight and overcoming really bothersome stomach troubles, which had gotten so bad they were affecting me not only during exercise but throughout the day as well. Therefore I wasn’t sure it would be worth the investment as I really didn’t know if it would work. However since seeing Sarah, I have noticed a marked improvement in my stomach troubles. When I’m following Sarah’s plan exactly my daily stomach pains are gone and during exercise is so much better also. This has resulted in being able to run better and recover better as well.
In fact, the knowledge Sarah provided me in our meetings about how to fuel my body and figuring out what foods I need to avoid, especially before key workouts and races, has really been the biggest game changer for me. And by giving me specific and easy to follow steps and creating a menu that broke down how much I need and what I should be eating pre/during/post workouts, I feel I’m well on my way to my racing weight.
Plus, somewhere in the midst of all this I’ve learned to overcome my sweet tooth! Sarah is so approachable and open to helping however she can, doing research and getting to the bottom of my questions. I really appreciate all the time and energy Sarah put into working with me individually, it’s been an awesome experience!
