Dylan is one of the most successful marathon runners in Canada. He was a member of the 2012 Canadian Olympic Team, finishing 20th in his Olympic debut at the London 2012 Games. He qualified for the Games by running 2:10:47 at the 2012 Rotterdam Marathon. That time currently stands as the second fastest ever by a Canadian, behind only Jerome Drayton’s clocking of 2:10:08 in 1975. Dylan has his sights set on taking Canadian marathon running to another level over the next quadrennial.
Dylan’s coaching philosophy has been shaped by his many years in the sport and the lessons he has learned through its ups and downs. He recognizes the importance of consistency and attention to detail and utilizes those factors to inform his coaching. His focus is on helping others explore the many benefits of running, whether it be improving your health, setting a new PB, or getting that elusive BQ.
Sarah and Emma are excited to have Dylan join their Nutrition for Runners workshops to lead participants through a run and to share advice on how to train in order to be the best runner you can be.
